DK - Mineral - Cambrian Mountains Wool
Mineral Yellow: a deep sort of yellow, not acid or bright. The yellow of the earth and the mines rather than the hedgerows. Inspired by the colours found in the natural habitat of the sheep farmed to create our hand knitting yarn.
Venturing underground, seams of yellow ore run through the mountains. Sought after, mined for wealth, a flash of colour to catch the eye.

Our dyed yarns are spun from finest Welsh Mule: Bluefaced Leicester with character! The Welsh Mule comes about by crossing the local hill breeds with a Bluefaced Leicester ram, and this cross improves the wool. Suited to clothing, this yarn has a good definition whilst developing a nice halo. Hand wash and don’t tumble dry!
Our wool is produced on farms throughout the Cambrian Mountains Region, which encompasses much of Mid Wales – a stunningly beautiful and wild area
