Cambrian Wool Blanket
It all started after the initial project where we developed our hand knitting yarn, we knew instantly that we could develop a weaving yarn in the same beautiful fibre.
Here we have our first double cloth blanket woven in our 100% Welsh Cambrian Wool.
Unlike traditional Welsh blankets, which are generally quite heavy, our blanket material is soft and light weight, making it perfect for snuggling up or draping over beds and sofas.
Our fabric was designed in-house and is our contemporary take on a Welsh Blanket design.
We would have loved our fabric to have been woven in Wales, but unfortunately there is nowhere in Wales currently that commission weaves.
So we went for the next best thing and had our blanket woven in Scotland.
This is a limited edition run so once they are gone thats it! (I’ll get more made but they will be a different design and colour).
